Dr. Wiesse

Dr. Wiesse was born in Peru and arrived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1978. He attended North Texas State (now University of North Texas), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where he earned his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1987. He then set up his practice in Grand Prairie and has been in practice since 1987.

In his private practice Dr. Wiesse practices a full scope of general dentistry with an emphasis in Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD), Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and Orthodontics. He has special interest in performing cosmetic dentistry and placing dental implants.

Dr. Wiesse has committed a tremendous number of hours in continuing education to stay up to date with the latest developments in dentistry, TMD, orthodontics, and sleep apnea. As a result of his commitment, he obtained a Diplomate of American Board of Craniofacial Pain. He also has a Fellowship in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Wiesse has completed the Advanced Restorative Series continuums with the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and a Certified Provider for Myobrace. He has also trained extensively in orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics.

With the understanding and education of how dentistry is a medical specialty, Dr. Wiesse’s practice believes that a healthy body starts with well developed arches and correct bite relationship. Dr. Wiesse has surrounded himself with a team who is well educated and share the same commitment in excellence in dentistry.
